Hillside Estate Winery's legacy began in 1984 when the old apricot orchard was replaced with grapevines. The first commercial release of a Hillside wine was the 1989 Auxerrois which recieved Hillside's first VQA (Vintner's Quality Alliance) seal of approval.
Hillside offers a wine tasting bar and gift shop where you can sample and purchase our wines and other unique gift items. Our award winning, rustic Barrel Room Bistro offers memorable lunches and dinners, featuring a second story patio with an amazing view of Okanagan Lake as well as the surrounding orchards and vineyards. Under the direction of proprietors Bill and Kathy Carpenter, and our very friendly and knowledgeable staff, Hillside is always ready to welcome our many visitors and encourage them to enjoy the complete "Okanagan Experience".
